In the cold expanses of Wisconsin, it’s finally starting to snow. Today we’re expected to get anywhere from 1-6 inches, depending on where we’re located. Us at LoveSac find ourselves asking: why bother with snow? Sure, it’s fun for maybe the first five minutes of frolicing, but then you have to realize that eventually you will have to drive in it. Or shovel it. Or wait for a bus in it. We’re thinking, especially with the release of all of the LoveSac Other Comfy Stuff, why not just hibernate? If you find yourselves in a situation like the one to the right, you should consider just staying in bed.

The best reason to stay in bed is probably because you have one of the brand new King Blankets on it. BEFORE THE DAY:

-Add your favorite store (LoveSac, duh) on Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace. Watch our blog. Those are the first places you will know about all of the amazing sales to come – INCLUDING some deals that might not be advertised in store!

-Monitor your fluid/carb intake. You need to stay hydrated, but not so much that you will be running to the bathroom every five minutes. That will loose you quality line spots! Likewise, you need to have eaten enough carbs (and have enough energy) to withstand the crowds without being bogged down by a distended belly.

-Make a list! Be aware of who you are shopping for and what they want. This will help you get straight to what you need, instead of being stopped by flashy ‘maybes.’

THE DAY OF:

-Be sure to get there early. We recommend (but depending on the laws in your area, cannot fully condone) dressing in full ninja attire and waiting it out from the night before until mall open.

-Head to the stores with the best deal first (LoveSac, duh).

-Be sure to brush up on your riot skills! Don’t get trampled. Walking sticks recommended, as well as shields.

Good Morning LoveSac Bloggers!

For those of you that have already graduated from a college or University, this time of year might be difficult for you. All the fun of back to school…you’re definitely missing out. I had the privilege of visiting UW-Madison last week to make a very special delivery to some lucky students: 3 SuperSacs! Not only is it one of the coolest campuses I’ve been to, but I also got to see the Capitol building for the first time. If I had to relive my college experience, I’m pretty sure it would be at UW-Madison! These lucky students were also living in some of the most state of the art dorm and apartment buildings I’ve seen. I’m definitely jealous…and I’d be happy to do that trip every year! We here at Mayfair hope to make this a new annual tradition: delivering love and comfort once a year to those kids leaving the nest.
